Yawn sorry Deadly_Assassin this is gettin really old really fast and the fact you almost cut everything the same...
Time to venture into something new... ;)
Well I am not too tired of the shape style, because to be honest I haven't seen a good one yet. Keep trying DA I am sure you will a good combo soon enough.
TBH a lot of the problem is the not the content, but just the relationship/theme between the render and the shape. Most of the shapes have a ripped-look, as if you tore some paper... you need to find something that fits...
What about trying a Mafia or Cowboy render on a newspaper or wanted poster?

The designs you have are fantastic and i personally think the artwork would look best in a standard sig. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the standard sigs more. I really envy you venturing into new territory with free-form borders, you should always use your creativity, but personally I haven't seen anything I like. That doesn't mean you should stop experimenting, because I believe you are headed in the right direction. Keep at it and hopefully we'll see a very unique masterpiece that appeals to all audiences. BTW, its 2 AM over here, excuse me if i dont make any sense. :bucky!:
Also!- I have made a connection and realize that your sigs look like a cracked egg shell. Maybe if you made it a little more theme specific (i.e. mafia theme with a pool of blood cut out and splatter spots, instead of a rigid and sharp sig). If that doesn't make any sense, try and get the rigid sig cut-out style you are using now and apply it to a theme that works(like gamesmaster said)
