not realy sure man, there'r alot of things not realy fitting/having the right feel on this sig.
first i dont like the multi color thing, blue-orange/red, the changing border, a rather weird/blurred render
and some strange effects, since this one is due a tutorial it could be that the tutorial is just kinda weird, but im sure you can do better, no offense but well i think you have the talent, but this isnt realy the thing.
