These were choses becaue they fit the creativity requirement and were presented well. Sure Hitman was being a smartass but, made me laugh!

The person that has the most votes on Wednesday the 11th 5pm EST, wins. This is one of the times that you, the forumites, get to say who wins. Choose wisely :D

Good luck to all! :D

I would start the Freestyle League. This would be a web-based (possibly eventually clan-based) group dedicated to doing things in games that not neccessarily win the game, but certainly look awesome. I would start it up using the PSP and Neuros to record PSP footage of myself doing cool stuff in Gripshift, Pursuit Force, and other PSP games where awesome stuff happens. With the stage set, I would open it to everybody.

At first, we'd focus on the PSP, particularly the "entry games" (the ones I recorded at first). There would be forums, downloads, videos, screens, and all sorts of cool stuff related to the Freestyle League. Once we got enough support, we would graduate to consoles and PC's. At this point, anything cool-looking goes. You drive an entire track the wrong way in Gripishift, doing 3 jumps backwards? Post it. Jump a boat into a parking garage in GTA? Bring it. Parachute put of an airplane, sniping six guys and landing on the flag in BF? Let us see it. Any brilliantly cinematic moment is fair game.

People have been doing stuff like this for ages...even back in N64 days I remember playing Re-Volt and trying to get my cars to flip over jumps, do 360's, and stuff like that. Well, now there will be a site dedicated to it. With the Neuros to record the footage and the PSP to provide some of the first games, I would have a good starting base for this. With enough expansion, this could become a hub of videogame stunts.

Somewhere inside them, so many people would love this. Just remember that one time you drove a Warthog over a huge jump onto an Elite...then found nobody to show it to. That'll never be a problem, now. Record the footage, post it on the site, get it rated, and do more. A simple cycle, yet one that leads to so much fun.

Games were always designed to be something that we played for fun...played for the fun of it. At the Freestyle cup, we're bringing this ideal back to gaming.

The Freestyle League--making gaming awesome again.[/b]

- For once I wouldn’t need to use a camera to record some stuff I do on my PSP
- make videos of game that are not out yet to the public, so people can see a game in action before they buy it
- Show of some of the things I've been trying to accomplish on PSP, some little projects I've been doing in total secrecy: P --- Of course make some videos of me doing stunts in GTA LCS and maybe VCS, something I loved to do in GTA series.
Hitman47 Productions are proud to present: Game Reviews Made Easy or GRME for short. Now you don't have to use a bulky camera, buy any additional software, or spend a penny more. With GRWE you will able to record HD quality videos without taking up gigs of space on your hard drive, WOW! Not only that, but you will be able to record video from virtually any devices that connect through USB!
Lacks the flashy pictures

So what is NuSho?

-The idea is based on the Playstation Portable and the Neuros MPEG 4 Recorder 2. Eventually we ended up with NeurosShow, made small and and simple in Nu (also as in 'New') Sho.

-NuSho is the newest way to get the latest gaming news onto your PSP! 'Where did i hear this before?' - i hear you think. Well, NuSho is different. Think Podcast, with Video. Now you can actually see what has been released, made anew in a way other people haven't thought of yet.

-Podcasts are cool an' all, but without the video, people quickly feel stupid for listening to awkward voices while on a train or other travelmethod. NuSho will take away the awkward and put in the coolness of gaming news. Fresh trailers, demo's, news and rumours now suck you right in!

-People owning a PSP but not an Ipod will now take back all the lost ground in this new way of PodCasting!

-So ever had this time where you were late for school, and had no chance of checking the latest gaming news? Well, thats history. the only thing you have to do is download the latest NuSho episode and view it while you'r traveling, for example, in the train just like me.

-The latest trailers, tidbits, info and announcements are all packed in a small, user friendly movie file converted by the Neuros MPEG4 recorder for easy downloading and playing from your PSP wherever you are.

- NuSho will feature humoristic, lets say Gamershell style news about the latest info on gaming.

I would like to add the fact that i am requesting all participants (that also includes me) to vote once, and only once. I would like to see an HONEST contest (capped that for a purpose), meaning that i for one WILL NOT ask my friends, family or anybody to register on GH and vote for me. I urge you to do the same, to keep this a clean contest. Nobody would like to be beaten by some craptard that has, as a see it, cheated? please. thankyou.

so no payoffs :P

I wish the contestants the best of luck!

now, DD31, remember what we agreed on, allright ?

Hey, NXS, what's the plan to resolve a tie here? Because it looks like it'll be pretty close...
I'm guessing it'll be your decision then, right?

LOL I guess I tied it up. I chose DD31 because his idea was unique and fresh, and it related to my gaming life. Although I equally loved Lone Strider's idea, gamespot has a very similar podcast system that you can download to your psp. May the best win!

Thanks for your vote, Fyc. I can't overstate how much I appreciate it. Now I've just gotta think of some witty bribe for the mods... :dennis:

As we enter the last day, it's a completely dead heat. WE're all crossing our fingers and hoping for victory...so that means it's time for politics-style mudslinging!

(The below comments are meant as jokes)
LS: Your idea's so fat its belt size is equator!
Hitman: I heard his idea once supported President Bush.

:P
It's been a good match...good luck. :raisehat:

Actually a lot of gaming sites have been doing this for a while, of course it's not called a "video podcast" but the same idea applies.
Also I though the contest was about "What would you do with the combo?" not "What would you create for the combo?" :Oo:
Ah who cares, winning is not an option anymore.

to set things straight, the idea was solely based on an idea. if i knew it existed already, i wouldn't have done it, would i? oh, about the gamespot one, thats just some kind of journal. dunno if its that easy to put on a psp tho.
