Hitman 2 Demo

Btw, there seems to be some compatibility issues with NVIDIA video cards & Creative Audigy sound cards:

* If you have a NVIDIA card and get corrupted graphics, you should use drivers older than the 30-series Detonator drivers (e.g., version 28.32).
* If you have a Creative Audigy sound card and are experiencing audio 'glitches', you should be able to fix this by turning down hardware acceleration.

I am getting a MS C++ RunTime error message box, the message is simply: "Abnormal program termination."

I am using a SB Audigy and an ATI VIVO 64MB DDR vid Card.

Any suggestions?

There are several problems with gfx cards with this demo - not only for NVIDIA. Apparently Eidos is aware of this and they will release an updated demo in early september. Of course, u can count on us to bring it to you as soon as it's available http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I'm probably just stupid but I've been having a problem with selecting an action when there are multiple choices in the box. If I just press the key I have bound, then the first action is done. If I press and hold, the box just flickers really fast and the first action is repeated in quick succession(ie: opening and closing doors). I have the same problem with almost all of my binds. When I push my key for stealth, he crouches and stands up over and over really fast. Does anyone know what might cause this?

You could try to go to the control panel | Keyboard and change the settings there so there&#39;s a longer delay. Might help..

Could somebody please help me i cant even start hitamn 2 demo.I get error with close and dettails buttons.
I tried to reinstal windows and install newest drivers .
Please help me.

Sory, i didnt noiced that i have pentium 2 400 mhz, but game needs pentium 2 500 mhz.
Maby anybody nows where to find manual on how to "turbo" my procesor.

I managed to start the demo by removing the sound from the ini file. Suffice it to say this game needs sound. I&#39;ll wait for the updated demo.

A better term for turboing your cpu is overclocking it. This means that you let the cpu run faster than it was originally set to, but the trouble is that it gets hotter. So, in order to overclock your cpu and get the extra 100mhz you want you will need a decent HSF (heatsink fan combination). There&#39;s tons of articles about overclocking on the net, so just search for "overclocking" on google.com and you&#39;ll find years worth of reading material.

Have you heard anything new in this matter? It&#39;s frustrating knowing you have a demo of good game, and not being able to play it...
