Hi all, I'm new to this forum, but found some incoming links to our site. So I took that as an informal invitation to make release notices here.

Visual3D.NET is an All-in-One Game Engine and Toolset written in C#/.NET for XNA. (http://www.visual3d.net/game-engine) Come see what our product can do for you.

Here is our 3D Engine and Toolset Gallery. (http://www.visual3d.net/webmedia/galleries/GameEngineAlbum/index.html)

Keep in mind that we're still in beta, and for a while, it'll require the assistance of some programmers who know .NET to achieve a unique game. However, at this point our toolset does provide a nice degree of assistance in scene layout, and professionalized materials and lighting. Additionally, our Model Editor provides you a convenient way to fix or optimize your models even in-game (no restarts required). Our version 1.0 release is targeted for end of this year.

And here is a screen shot of our Architect Toolset in action:

I tried bèta 1.x some months ago, and if you have the necessary skills it is really awesome. Though afaik, Realmware cancelled the non-commercial licensing, so now it is aimed more at software companies and (IT) education then at amateurs.
So unless I'm wrong about the licensing, it's pointless for me to try to learn to work with it.

Visual3D.NET engine (http://www.visual3d.net/game-engine) is still very much focused upon students, hobbyists and indies. Our move away from "free for non-commercial" was to protect our overall business strategy required to maintain a strong development and support staff for this product. Our aim is to make it affordable to the whole range of developers -- students, hobbyists, indies, and professionals.

Our "serious clients" (businesses) is where we obtain most of our funding that enables us to develop a product for the masses. Please don't let a small price be an obstacle for you. For a limited time after version 1.0 release, we are discussing the option of providing a free "full-time student non-commercial" license to provide a boost for our community.

I hope you'll come try us out and see what we can do for you.

I'll keep an eye on the software :)

They actually made a lot of progress recently. The last beta was pretty stable. They are marching towards version 1.0 now.

You can see some nice videos and tutorials on their website:
