A lot of the gamers I know only play a few games now and then, just for fun. But, for me I play Quake 3 about an hour a day, just to practice accuracy and becoming a better player. I'm only on a 56k connection, so playing online is out of the questions. Sometimes I wonder why I bother http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Any of you feel the same?

I used to practice Quake and Quake 3 all the time. I'm on a cable connection, so I do it online. Got to the point that I could smack about 99% of the players out there.
That was awhile ago, tho.

I used to play Quake 3 online with my 56k daily. After many months of play, I got used to the lag enough where I became pretty good, even against the majority of cable players. Took a LONG time though, and after playing the more 56k-friendly HL mods it seems impossible to play Q3 on a modem anymore.

I like to play for practice Unreal Tournament. More practice - more skills, so on http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
