I really haven't got into any Final Fantasy since 9, mainly because X was just terrible for me with the no open world thing then avoided the series until now. I knew FF13 was pretty bad and it was said the 13-2 fixed a lot of things so, I tried the demo and kinda liked it and thus stuck it on my Gamefly list. I received it Wednesday and have been playing ever since. Never really thought I would get into it as much as I have, but there is something about it that keeps me hooked. Maybe it is because you get to travel through time, a lot, and it reminds me of Chrono Trigger or it could be that I stopped comparing it to other Final Fantasy games and played it for what it is. Whatever the reason, I am quite enjoying FF12-2 and I would recommend that any fan of the series or RPG's in general give it a shot.

The upgrade system is pretty sweet. It reminds me of Skyrims to be honest and the ability to add monsters to your party as well as upgrade them is pretty sweet as well. I would say more about but I'm only about fifteen hours into it. After I get closer to the end, I will post more. :D

I must say, I get a little confused by the music. When you are out and about, the music is kinda of this laid back stuff and then when you fight a boss, it goes to Megadeath! :D Well, it is not Megadeath but it sure as hell is a lot more metal than what you usually hear throughout the game. Kinda wish the metal music would stay whilst your exploring. Not that the other music isn't good, I just prefer the balls to the wall metal when I am playing. :D
