NO, Games in russia are like 20-40€ and 1 € is more than a $. So if you get a game from russia for 2$(even for a LITE version) it's deff a warez.

It's not 'lite'... I was born in Russia, speak Russian and visit Russian game news sites. What you'll be getting is the leaked 'alpha / beta / whatever' that was stolen from Valve. It's unofficial, same code as what we've (possibly :P) seen on inet, and indeed manufactured by pirates. Although yes, those are the real prices for pirated games in Russia... Licensed (official) games cost a bit more though, around $3 for jewel case version or $5-7 for boxed. In any case, your brother is paying for something that is already available on the Internet (and you'll be waiting a few weeks to get it via mail too ;) ).

Which site is that?

Check out cdgames.ru (http://www.cdgames.ru/).... This is an 'official, licensed store, selling licensed software - the prices are obviously slightly higher than in shops in the city since it's an online store (and b/w ain't cheap in Russia, hehe), but the typical price for a game is around 100 rubel = ~$3. And yes, all those are licensed games :)

do you subscribe to PCG jdub? for all of you who missed it (i don't know whether this has been said already) the HL2 code was hacked off of the site. I think that a compagny like Valve should have never bin able 2 hack in the first place.
If you work in the software industry you know the danger of haking/leaking ecetra, and if they where hacked well they should have done something about their security problems in the first place. I dont support hacking in any way ,in fact i hate it cause some (words followin are to rude to be put on this forum) dude did it to me a while ago, but a proffesional compagny like Valve made a BIG mistake somewhere or they have somebody employed wich isn't 100% reliable. Anyway I hope that HL2 will kick ass when it comes out next year and untill then i dont want to read,hear,see any Alpha/blabla whatever comments myself cause i want to see a finished product. I hope they will grab the hacker dudes someday and put em in jail where they can make lincense plates for the rest of their lives.

You can bother with it - it&#39;s playable, but.... It&#39;s not final. It&#39;s like playing a buggy version of HL2 basically, with a lot of missing features... Can be both fun and frustrating at the same time :)

Ok HalfLife2 is out in russian, HalfLife2 is not finished there are C.A. 10 maps and no MP I think its a beta ar alpha version of the game. but i can`t now everything &#33; :thumbdown: :thumbup: What is Gonnabe ?

Each game costs about 3 bucks
BUT all games are cracked so if
you want to play in internet you should
first upgrade it..........
It is very long work(about hour
each game) :thumbdown:
