Anyways, i was wondering whether you'd like a more 'pro' approach as in, burn my CPU with various tools so you could be satisfied.... ?

Looks like you covered the bases pretty well. For my purposes, I don't really need the depth of say, a Tom's Hardware test. You told me if it worked, and what your opinion of it was.
One thing I did notice, you gave passing mention to the weight, but kind of ignored it from then on. I would think that would be something important to add into the "downsides" in your conclusion. That thing would really suck if you like going to lan parties.
You could have given it "Cooler of the Decade" title and I still wouldn't touch that monstrous looking thing though! http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Oh, and as far as burning your cpu? I'm all about flames! With nice pics of the smoke and the expression on your face http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I disagree with you m8,
The fan is Amazingly splendid, sure its heavy, sure if it'll fall down hell will break loose, but its GREAT.
i mean, my AthlonXP hasn't been this less noisy (not quiet) for quite a while.....
the heatsink and fan are great though, and just for the record, i didn't get it for free, i actually bought it.

hmm.. seems that what I wrote and what you read aren't the same thing.
Oh well, re-read the first paragraph and ignore the rest of my post, that is really the answer to the question in this thread.
As far as the rest of it goes, your review gave me enough information to make a decision about the hardware, which is what the point of a review is, right?
Glad you like your new cooler. http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
