We apologize about the almost 12 hours downtime today, however our host was upgrading servers down at their server farm (which includes ours - we're running at a whopping 1700MHz now&#33http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, and they
a) neglected to let us know it'll be happening
b) took too long to do it

Anyways, things should be back to normal now, and we've got an extra 400MHz of power now http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Glad you are back. Was afraid I might an hour or two late getting a newly release demo http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Don't worry - we'd never do that to you... Or would we? http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

1.7GHz of raw hellish power.

No need to envy us... With 70,000 - 100,000 hits per day we really need every MHz we can get... And the site used to get somewhat slow during peak hours before the upgrade http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

There are the stats:

Average successful requests per day: 1,768,208 (1,650,076)
Average data transferred per day: 9.711 gigabytes (9.468 gigabytes)

That's 9.4GB from the main server alone, which includes only site graphics, pages and screenshots... Not counting the downloads servers which make terabytes of traffic every day Â*http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

Our name should've been Serverhell http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
