Good to have the site back up and running, i think i was able to browse for about 20 minutes yesterday and it seemed to have gone back down.
Anyhow, since it came back up yesterday every Forum page i go to (so when i opened a the forums, when i opened Not gaming related, when i went to do this topic) i get the same errors....
Line 2
char:10,
Error:syntax
code:0
URL:http://www.gamershell.com/ad/5.html Â*(also get an error popup on ~/6.html )
noone else getting this?
also sometimes getting an error 84 i think it is, unknown error a few times mixed in there (maybe 1 out of 10 times i get the other 4 popup errors.

I am getting an error popup also. Mind you I have InterDev on my system, so my error is a bit different.
I would imagine that the problem is something created by them in the process of troubleshooting the problems, and we will see it go away when they turn something back on http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

k good, then my computer isnt going crazy. in the process of deleting the caches and cookies, etc I did something that caused the font on quite of the few sites I visit to jump to large. Yahoo headers are now a size 24 maybe where they used to be a 12. /shrug not too big a deal and I havent cared enough to mess with it. Oh and it would seem that today it all went back to normal, so go figure......
Im just gonna go away now http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

That's a Javascript error related to missing banners on our forum that you're (not) seeing. We're fixing it.
And I don't think I can tell you how mad we are on our host. After we'll succesfully switch FROM them, which should hopefully happen soon, I'll publish some actual logs of us talking to their tech support people. I don't think anyone would want to have our host as their host after reading those.

Nope, in an attempt to save money they use low quality squirrels. Hence the result.

They should talk to Sony. Â*Though I do think that Sony's collection of Hamsters that powered Everquest were unionized, as there was a scheduled weekly downtime in addition to the downtime from when a server crashed (aka a hamster died and the wheel powering the server no longer spun.)
[edit:] oh and welcome the new avatar........

Awww... I think Sony stole that incredible collection of hamsters from Ultima Online servers. We might even get a reward for reposting them in http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
