Cloning human beings in toto is a hellaciously tangled issue, and I think people are making a mistake playing with it as soon as the technology becomes available. Humanity really needs to work through all of the implications of it.

Having said that, cloning a person&#39;s organs is a terrific idea. Think about all the good it could do: I can drink as much as I want, without fear of losing my liver, because the docs can just clone my liver, and perform a transplant without fear of rejection. http://www.gamershell.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

well apparently the Raeleans did it, they said that a baby girl was born 7ibs the other day, cloned from a 31 year-old american woman, and a few more are apparently in the oven. thats soo messed up.
as for the person who said its wrong to play god, i agree, but the raeleans dont beleave in god, they think alians created all of us as clones of the "higher beeings" but whatever, they still have not produced the evidence that they succesfully cloned a human.
