help please

some time ago i got ea superbike 2001 but could not get it to run, got error video error updated my driver did't work i'v got a 1.8ghz pentium 4 , 40 gig hard drive, 265 ram, gforce 3 video card , directx 8.1 ect
so pc speck should be no prob if anyone can help ,
i'v sent the game back but it's still a game i'd like

What version of Windows are you running? I had a problem running that game too (on totally different system specs). I'm using Win2k and I think I had to run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode (not sure if it was a video error, though). If you have winXP you'd likely have the same problems as Win2k in games.
