Nvidia has introduced Turbo Cache Technology for the Geforce 6200. This cool bit of engineering allows graphics chips to render to system memory, rather than using memory on the graphics card.
Nvidia reckon that this will allow people that can' t afford the Top End cards to get better performance for their money. It is all done using the Bi-Directional bandwidth that PCI-E offers.
The 6200 cards suporting TC will run DX9 Shader model 3.0, use Purevideo tech from Nvidia, and use the Forceware software suite.
These will be around in shops from the end of the month
