View Full Version : why can't i run 3Dmark05 ?

i have R9800Pro
DX 9.0C+all new drivers
and the program is showing some kind of a movie.. and then it get's out
why is it happening?

r u running the demo or the benchmark?

do you have the 3dmark05 patch?

how many processes r u runnng?

what background programs are you running

hey i just scored 4720 at 3dmark05! i had 4380 and i just overclocked my 6800gt and now it 4720! but, my processor needs a little boosting............2fps on average at the cpu tests...

that benchmark is graphics card dependent, meaning thats all it realy
uses is the graphics card for the graphics . cpu's are not designed for video graphic processing. they simply manage the data for the graphics card, that about it.

I get 2 fps as well on most of my computers. dont bother
unless you wont to cook your chip getting out 1 more fps.

lol cptn, you should be proud, cuz my card won't go any further than 1700 or so...

if some1 wants to get rid of his 6800, i would be happy to function as a trashcan :P

LOL....

3dmark05 as a patch for the 3dmark benchmark program
so it runs with less compatibilty issues.
if you dont have the patch, get it, install it, run the bench and
tell me what happened.
