First sig in 3 months

Hey, its been a long summer. hopefully when i get back to school i can get back into sig making. But i had a little free time tonight and thought i would test my hand and this is what i came up with. could you please leave a comment. The only other thing i could think to do with it is add a quote, but because the render is soo big there wasnt really space for it, so i left it out.

yeah not bad m8, i like it, shame the render popout bit is so choppy, but you cant help that i suppose, or maybe you could feather the edges a tiny bit, just to take the pixelation away abit :thumbup:

Yea nr1 is realy good, you just need to do something about the pop out part, blur/smooth/remove it totaly, cause now it looks To choppy

Yo so im messing with PS and i cant get those jaggies to go away, im not sure what to do. ive messed with all the options with it being a *.gif file, and they all have the jaggies, even after feathering/bluring. is there anything else that you folks could suggest?

I thought i would impart some knowledge to all that have/had the same problem as me.
Using PS 8.0->File->Save As...

Change Format to Gif. On the next window that comes up called "Indexed Colors", under the options section there is something called "matte:". I changed that to "netscape gray", and left everything else the same. this is my new result of variation 1:
