Ummm... ok the banner is alright, but the whole site is a bit hit and miss. You need to develop a theme/css that emphasises what the site is about. Not a bad start by any means and I have seen far worse, like www.interplay.com for instance!

Keep on improving the site and providing your mate new artwork. What about creating some buttons that fit the style of the banner?

can u tell me if it still looks crap now? and what resolution does your monitor have?

Yes I see the improvements already. I really like the style of the categories graphic. Maybe you should extend that style throughout the site.

If you need any help then don't be afraid to ask.

thanks! Can i know your computer's resolution and brower? I am doing a research to which people like and dislike the sites graphical effects
mostly people with higher resolutions than like 1200 x 800 seem to think the site does not look good

OK Current Browsers are IE7 and 1680x1050px (16:10).
