Aftermath Sig

Trying something a bit different and darker. Got a bit bored of smudge brushing... so went back to my roots!

Simple:


Loads of Overlays:

Try to find a middle way the overlay one has got too much overlays and this ruins it abit,
specially in the center it´s just too bright otherwise some good damn fine work desperate,
and good that you try to keep this section alive.. :thumbup: ;)

Thanks for the critique tiger. I am going to try and revitalise this whole forum, starting with answering sig requests and then maybe setting up a few compos!

Do you want to start doing that little sig-along thing again. I will definetly take part and hopefully some of the guys who don't post here anymore will come back.

I'm not really much into designing sig's. But I like the one with overlays
better. My input would be on the file size. Most site's want a sig thats 50kb's
or smaller. Or at least the sites I visit. I had to reduce the file size on the
sig you made me desperate, but it still looks good and I'm getting lot's of
good remarks over it :-)

Great, I am glad people are liking it.

Normally I output sigs as JPEGs at 60% quality, but I think maybe I used 80-100% on yours. How did you reduce the filesize yourself?

I might actually make a point of starting up some of the old SOTW compos here and making an emphasis on filesize optimisation and not animation like it used to be under the control of GM and maybe Vishus before that.

I just saved it as a lower quality jpg :-)
