Exclamation GTA 4 Movie 'Cold Freedom' Coming Soon

Hi,

Let me introduce myself.
I'm Dempsey Van Assche aka FoxDie, I live in Belgium and my main hobbies are Gaming and Video Editing. Now it happens to be two hobbies that co-exist very easily.

I've started with a project in GTA 4, making a movie. And not just that average gameplay movie. Nope! A film... with a story, with a plot, etc... That kind of movie you could easily play on a movienight with a couple of friends.

Now this movie making does need a lot of time and work. And therefor i'm asking you to maybe help us out!
I need people who are interested in helping out with this movie by sending ideas for additional scenes, people who speak english pretty well to record voice actings!

If you are interested you can post your ideas or send them to me:
connexion_dva@hotmail.com

ps: If you have a real fast connection, so the gta 4 ping limitation doesn't stand in the way. You can help out by joining the server and be an actor in the game ;-)

One thing though! I use hamachi to make this movie (with several reasons):
- hamachi lets me control the connections between the players. (To high pings towards eachother isnt a good thing!)
- hamachi gives us the privacy of our own server and spares us from players looking for a random match.
- hamachi keeps the connection between players stable!
- and last but not least, i don't care if players who are joining to help out have a pirated copy (prefered not!) as long as the movie gets done!

Thanks!

Keep doing what you're doing! Since you're viewing your edited videos to the public it won't take that long for you get noticed ;).

Thanks, sure i can tell you that

I'm using a very well-known program called Pinnacle Studio. This program was first introduced to me when I accepted to work free lance for a well known game-design studio...
Unfortunatly i can't tell you what company (or at least not public) because of the contract i signed. Anyhow. The program allows me to change any footage any way i like. adding corrections, tekst, effects, sounds, music and a lot more...
The version i am currently using now is 12.

Recording in-game footage is done also by a very well-known tool known as FRAPS:
a realtime video recording and benchmarking tool.

Ah you one of those people... lol just kidding I use Avid Video Editor, but am going to be upgrading it soon to the next one, just cant remember the name now(was party last night)

I delivered my first complete concert I did by myself. I videoed it (single camera) and then edited in Avid free. It does what I need and its a good place to start learning.

Cheers 4 now
