ok guys I put something together, the images don't have any animation, but if you want we can work on it later, this is simply the right layout and design I was aiming for when I created the buttons. . .

Ok, I will give you some advice.
I tried doing this for rzk a few months ago, tbh GH have specific requirements. 1). They require icons based on all current/upcoming gaming platforms. The current style sheet is the basis, but the overall plan is a 'gamespot' detailed style sheet. 2). At least at a mid-res PS canvas size for incorperation into a wider theme/css for the whole site. 3). Must contain 100% original content. GamerShell has copyright issues to adhere to. I like Vesper's effort more, as they cover the scope that is required by GH. Akher, your current effort is too dark to be able to see properly. Create something a bit more basic in structure. |

GamesMaster, I noticed near the top of the current GamersHell homepage you have several links that are rather big in size, but I do like the effect that happens when the mouse rolls over it, would you like me to do that for all of my pictures?
Or would you like it if on "mouseover" it would appear as if the picture is glowing? either way, i can make it happen B) btw, sorry if the loading time is slow for my buttons, i'm hosting it on my own site and its kinda slow :P |

rzk will judge (he's the nasty one!), personally I find vesper's good enough already...
... well just the PC one could be better ... and yes I think he's using mouseover (basically two different images). |

will fix the pc one, and will make a completely new one using a semi-opaque gray layer on top of it all as the mouse over, but will keep the original there also just in case you don't like it.
now to fix the damn pc :P fixed the pc, will now try my "rollover" idea OK, here is my latest edition: Updated Buttons my link above will still take you to the "non rollover" buttons ;) |

Thats a good effort vesper. I would recommend that you pop into fireworks/photoshop and:
1). Round the edges of each button a little. 2). Reduce the opacity of the black border to a grey hue. 2). Instead of the rollover being just a up|hover, why not try up|hover|down, i.e. so the buttons have 3 states. |
