Disney's Anno 1701 Feedback Thread

Alrighty ladies and gents, you have always wanted to share your thoughts with dev/publishers. Now is your chance. Disney Interactive is set to release Anno 1701 Friday the 8th and they would like to have your input/feedback about the game. Granted, as it not out yet, you really can't play it and tell them what you think as of yet but, you can read about it and look at the pretty pictures and say what you feel about it based on that. (God knows you will)

Here are some features of the game:

ANNO 1701 for Nintendo DSâ„¢ is a new development offering maximum user convenience and control.
Three game-modes: a full-fledged campaign with more than 15 missions, a versatile endless-game-mode and a multiplayer mode with configurable settings for up to four players on ready-made maps offering endless fun.
An in-depth tutorial, comprehensive ingame help and animated advisors on the top screen ensure easy access and maximum comfort.
Innovative battles: The system of fighting as compared to the PC-version has been overhauled and adapted to the Nintendo DSâ„¢.

The game looks fun, though i don't have much to say on it, i still will say something, because i dont want to dump this chance. :francesco:

I hope that the Multiplayer mode will be online for all over the world, not just with a few close by friends. Though i've never played them, Strategy games look fun to me on a ds with the stylus. I saw on the trailer it will use the stylus, i hope it'll be done well, because the stylus is a great thing.

I may not have a DS, but if this game gets out fine i might get one with a ds, because i need a handheld soon because of all the bus travels.

ok that actually looks like a lot of fun.
i love resource management games and to be able to have more in depth battles than just select your army and move is nice.
however w/ the different styles being meshed together i really hope the resource management is not overly time consuming.
cause i wanna get out on the ship and start blowing ppl up!
also i would love to see some trading (like in space trader for the palm piliot) in the game.

it got good ratings in germany as far as i remembered. I got Anno 1701 wooden box limited edition for PC but will look into the DS one

I wish i didnt give my old DS away, the version for computer is great, ill find a way 2 try this one

Yeah it was the most successful strategy game in Germany according to google! i found this link http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=...=20112&type=wmv for the trailer. hmm..what woudl you deman if you owned your own island ?

it was quite hard, because this beer wagon guy always showed up... upgrading my population 2 the next level... and once he leaves im screwed because i cant keep up with the new demands

Anno 1701, the pc game. Been released since some time and this is a DS version of that game. Sigh.....

I loved the game on my pc, beautiful graphics and an alive vibrant atmosphere surrounding it. I might get the DS version if I can get my girlfriend to give up the DS I bought for her, I doubt that though Trailer looked like it kept all the gameplayfeatures of the "original" in place. Nice work there Disney.
