One thing I noticed while looking thru all the screenshots is that the texture res is very low.
compared to todays standart this is pretty weak. The ground s covert in a total blur texture and so are the chars. The game looks like it's gonna be fun but I still hope there is a high graphic quality in the work. as far as it stands right now it's graphicly a 2003 game. While graphics is not the A n O I still hope I get my juice out of it...there is a reason why I got a 550€ graphic card...so i can show off - but i can't with this game as it looks. Well, neverless it looks promising and I'm looking forward to kick some ass in it ![]()

Yeah, we know rhe problem with the textures, but it is impossible to remake them now. The development took about 4 years, so there are still some old textures. But the main thing is gameplay, that is why we are pretty optimistic about the players' feedback. As you understand the price will be not too high and more like budget price.

Vivisector could be a better game if it had PS 3.0, VS 3.0 and hi res. textures. the gameplay seems to be atractive though. But gameplay doesn't make a game...unfortunatly . the development perhaps took 4 years, but so was it for half life 2 and their game is very good at all points. I'm not telling Vivisector will be a serious teahat, but it could have been a lot better to me. :dennis:

I've just talked with our programmers about the shaders and they said that lately they left only 2.0 versions of shaders. Sorry, guys, my fault. Didn't know about that. But I can show you the 2.0 shaders on screens.
shaders on water reflecting and moving effect: http://vivisector.com/en/?do=pics&act=show&id=94 http://vivisector.com/en/?do=pics&act=show&id=92 http://vivisector.com/ru/?do=pics&act=show&id=99 the warm air after the rocket route effect. not really good example: http://vivisector.com/en/?do=pics&act=show&id=71 |
