You have to buy one from a PC shop im afraid. Yea, as Knut and nxs say, if it says n/a in dxdiag then i dont think you'll be able to play Sims2 without spending some money on an upgrade or a new machine that can do 'directx9.0c'. You should ask at your local PC store. Depends how much you wanna play the game really! IMHO its not worth spending hundreds on to play one game!
Hope you sort it! ![]() |

Right click on MY Computer and select properties click Hardware tab
then Device Manager. Click on the + next to Display adapter and post the image here.

Hey lilu, hmm if it worked before on your current machine then you should be able to play it.
Knut says to right click 'my computer', then select 'properties', and then click on the 'harware' tab. then on the 'device manager' button, and then on the little '+' next to where it says display adaptor. Then either take a screenshot and post it here, or just tell us exactly what it says under display adaptor after you've clicked the little '+'. That will definitely tell us the name of your video chip/card. |

That’s because it is a shortcut.
If you click on Find Target (at shortcut tab) another window with a My Computer icon should show up. Right click on that one and select properties. Or try Start>Settings>Control Panel>System.
