Sims 2

Hey There! Before i buy and install the Sims 2, i was wondering if i had the right requirements.

I have a Dell 2350
Pentium 4 Processor / 1.80 GHz
256 MB RAM
Intel Graphic Controller / Intel 82845 chip

am i good to go? i was told that you need a 2.0 GHz, but i was also told that you would at least need 1.5 GHz, so is 1.80 GHz ok?? or should i not get it??

So i guess a 1.8 GHz won't cut it then eh?

man that sucks...i have everything else, but 2.0 GHz.

it won't work at all?

The Sims2 is a very demanding game, both on the CPU and Video card - as Cow says, you will struggle to get it to run let alone be able to play it properly ;)

It looks like you are BARELY passed the minimum specs, which means the game will be very laggy/ugly and nearly unplayable. My suggestions are to buy some more ram and a better video card.

Well it is possible, but like I said will be very laggy and have low graphics. If there is a demo for the Sims 2, download it and see how it runs.

N X S to the rescue again...is that video card alright? the ATI RADEON XPRESS 200?? i want the game to run smoothly...hate to keep bugging...

ps weird how it changed "N X S" into the alcohol soaked braindead chimp, I had to space out the letters

Probably want to get a better card x700, x800 or nvidia 6600. Alcohol soaked braindead chimp is buckys pet name for me

I bought one for my wife at Walmart for 300 monitor and all. All I did to it was upgrdade the ram and put a gfx card in it. Have not had any problems out of it
