the sims university

i just got the sims university and i installed it on saturday night and then on saturday morning i wanted to play and i put the disc in and clicked the icon and it said The application has crashed THis application will now terminate. so my dad told me to uninstall and reinstall it worked after that and then today i wanted to play and i got the same thing.... i don't want to have to reinstall every time i want to play because then u can't save a game... can u help me please??
