problems gta:sa [PC]

I've also problems running gta:sa.
No low fps or blue screenies, my problem are the people in the game, the pedestrains, included me, are white coloured. The environomment looks how used to be.
So i updated the videodriver, unfortunately without any improvements.

oh, and my specs

AMD Duron 972mhz
256mb sdram :thumbup:
ATI Radeon 9800pro (128mb) (4x AGP)
400w PSU
win xp pro sp1

Well your comp isn't the best and I think that GTA 3 has a problem with SP2 so GTA: SA maybe has a prob with SP1

Hmm, i got SP1 and it runs ok...

Have you tried www.gtaforums.com?

General feeling is that there are all sorts of driver issues and even rolling back can help. I have the 9800 Pro too, and am running the latest Omega drivers currently based on the cat5.4 drivers. (Current ATI drivers are 5.6 i think..) So you could try rolling back to the omega or ati 5.4 drivers...

One person with an nVidia card had to rollback directx to 9.0b, but I dont recommend that!

Almost certainly a driver incompatibilty issue. Try disabling Catalyst AI or the equivalent in Nvidia's Detonator driver control panel.

i got the same problem .. peds are white.. all rest is normal..
i got ati radeon saphire 9550 amd 2800+ 1gb ram.. so i got the req machine..
+ i have latest catalist drivers.. ill try rolling back as u said and give u the info here... if u find any simpler sollution. that'd be cool

Edit reinstalling to newest omegas doesnt work for me...
