the sim2 error

pls help me....

i having a problem when i launching the sim2 which is a error message appear..

"Failed to initialize Direct3D.Please make sure DirectX 9.0c has been installed on this system.The application will now terminate."

below is my Device details:-

Name :MSI MS-StarForce GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
Manufacturer:NVIDIA
Chip type :GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
DAC Type :Integrated RAMDAC
Approx. Total Memory :64.0 mb
Current Display Mode :1024 x 768 (16 bit) (70hz)

y does the error messege appear?
does my PC pass the minimum requiredment?
can anyone pro there help me out?
i'll appreciate it so much....
pls and thx for anyone giving the helping hand....

The Sims2 requires a 'fully' compliant DirectX9.0c Graphics card. Your one is compatible with DirectX9.0c, but does not have the complete featureset as it is cheap!

Sorry, you should read the minimum specification more carefully!

thts means my situation of my Driver now canot play the sim2?

It is not a driver issue... its that your graphics card is not up the job!

I dont think its help but trying to click at this link an download directx 9.0c.....Microsoft

Check you system in <Start<Kør<(in the box write: dxdiag). And there you can check the system...
