[font=Arial][size=7][size=14][color=blue]Hey i have playing battlefield yesterday but today i have buy a 512 mb ram to my comp so i have now 1 gb and 3.40 ghz and amd althon 64 processor...... but when i going into bf2 there are some scary colours in the background menu and the game are totally cracked!?
PLz help...... what?? Post your whole system specs(CPU, RAM, GFX etc). Is the game downloaded?? Then you should read the forum rules cause we don't support that :nxs:

no need to post your specs, just run a memtest
http://www.memtest86.com/ It sounds like your RAM might be corrupted, check if it is, if thats the case then just return it for a new pair. Also check to make sure its cleanly connected and worst comes to worst, go into your bios and set your settings to something more stable(single channel, "safe mode" if they have it, etc.)

I have the same problem. whilst in game, textures change black or go missing also the menu screws up sometimes. Im not sure why this occurs because it doesnt happen in any other games such as half life 2 or far cry. I bloody hope my ram aint broke cos I cant return it and cant afford new ram. Perhaps its a prob with the game itself. What has me worried though is that the demo ran fine the first few days I had it but all of a sudden it does this.
My specs are (if this helps): 3.2ghz p4 120 gb hd 1 gb ddr400 ram x800xt gfx card So the game should run fine which it did the first few days but all of a sudden textures are missing and im not sure why. Anyone know why? Please help!! |

Ok I just downloaded the Battlefieled 2 demo, to try it out and see if its worth purchasing the full version. The gameplay is amazing, and everything is A+ so far, but the FX arent even as good as the first one? I know this is a mistake because of all the screenshots I have been looking at. I tried fixing my resolution to 1280 x 960 (Max setting for the client) and every time it loads, there are choppy corners around objects, the smoke is not realistic, and just looks like crap basically. I dont know if my video options are not saving..or if something is messed up with the new video drivers that the CD asked me to install for my nVidia GeForce 4 6800, or even if the Demo version wont allow to set video options on max? My comp is a gaming machine so I am not used to this. If anyone has any ideas why this is happening, I would appreciate it if you let me know. Thanks. Play hard.
