Problem C&C Generals

In a AMD 64 3000+, with a Biostar GHBGRAND Nforge3 Mainboard, GForce FX5500 256MB, and 512 MB 400 MHZ Memory, the game install ok, but when I make a doble click to start the game, the computer take 15 min. in the first screen, after this it work too perfect the speed the scenes everything is ok.

I make the same in a PIV 3200 with the same video card but in a 875 Intel mainboard, and the game take less than 1 second in the same begin screen.

I have the original game; I try in Windows Xp 64 Bits and; I use the last DirectX, I change the drives, I upgrade the mainboard bios,

PD. (When I said the first screen, is the EA logo move to the front and stop)

What can I do??
