I have got a xp laptop and desktop, does anybody know how to make a lan between them.
I have all the conections and cables.

You need a Crossover Cable (ask in the store) if you want to connect them peer to peer (from one network card directly into the other).
Otherwise, get a switch, plug both normal RJ45 cables in and BAM!
