DOOM 3 FPS...!

NO offense but, it will prob. run like crap.... your system ram sucks bro, go to 512 at least a gig is prob. recommended... :/ as far as drivers go im not exactly sure>:? i'd like to know if i should go with my regular cata. drivers or the omegas...

just get another 256mb ram and it will run fine (not great, but playable) on medium and @ 800x600, it wont
however look as good as in the screenshots you normally see.

Don't buy the game if your not planning on putting another 256mb ram in your PC, it will be very unplayable!

As for the drivers, I have absolutely no experience with Nvidia videocards/drivers,
but I'm sure some of the other forumites will be able to help you with that.

doom 3 minmum requirements for ram is 384mb......sorry pal but your system will barely even get to the options menu....if your lucky!

Your system is fine, and you will probably see 20-55fps on 800x600 with medium details. I have a 9800 pro, p4 3.0ghz, and 1gig ram, etc, and I get like 40-100fps on medium/high detail and 1024x768. I dont think my system is THAT much better than yours, with the exception of the graphics card and the ram. Just get at least 256, id say get another stick of 512 and youll be fine.

Well if you really love playing games than you might want to consider some more changes in your setup.

can't really think of any more suggestions. Have fun playing Doom3 :thumbup:

Hi,
I will buy Doom 3 in some days.

My Specs Are:

Pentium 4 2.4 GHz @ 2.63 GHz
GeForce FX 5700 256MB 128-Bit ( 320 MHz Core / 514 MHz Memory ), 8x Running at 4x
256 MB RAM

( I know its low that minimum but... )
ASUS P4SP-MX Motherboard with 4x AGP
Will have much space on Harddisk for Doom 3.

I m planning to play it on 800x600 and Medium Settings.

I WANNA KNOW :

1. MUCH FPS WILL I GET APPROX?
2. WHICH DRIVERS SHOULD I USE, FORCEWARE 71.89 OR OMEGA DRIVERS VERSION 1.669
3. WILL IT RUN SMOOTH ON MY SYSTEM?
4. WILL THE GRAPHICS BE GOOD LIKE IN SOME DOOM 3 SCREENSHOTS?

ANY HELP!
