I can not play The Sims2 at all on my computer. I think my video card is so old that it won't do anything.
Here are my spec: Name: ATI Tech. Inc 3D RAGE IIC AGP Manu: ATI Tech. Inc Chip Type: ATI 3D RAGE IIC AGP(A21) When I go to dxdiag it states : The system is using a generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manuf. It also states this about my DirectX: Direct 3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manf. Ok here is where the problems lays. ATI does not have a updated version for RAGE IIC!! My OS is Windows XP which I also found out is not compatiable with RAGE. So, what in the hell do I need to do to get my SIMS up and running? I am going through MAJOR withdrawl !!! |

It's your vid card. The game doesn't support it. Thou you should try to download the newest drivers for your card. Even if ATi doesn't make new drivers they should have the old ones to.
