Medieval Total War

hi friends, i want to ask you how to attack another countries from sea like example when i attacked al-mohads they can send their army to my separate land without attack my nearest countries around al-mohads.
if you don't understand i will explain more, example:
i'm using england and i already conquer all europe but when i attacked al-mohads they can attacked wessex without conquer the countries that i already conquered help...
