Well since my comp is broke i've installed UT on this comp and I've downloaded a large amount of maps since that time! Is there any way to copy all the maps so that I don't have to download 'em again??

Not totally sure what you are saying.
Only when I had my server going I DL maps and placed them on an external drive.
So you could burn them to cd/dvd of place on another drive.

Now if you are talking about maps that you DL from servers you’ve joined that are stored in your cache-then use a cache converter:
http://www.real-swedix.net/ut2004mi.html With this one you should click on configure and save before you try to convert cache-or it will not do it.
There are others.

Also note that you can increase to amount of days maps stay in your cache by going to your;
ut2004.ini (in system folder)

[Core.System]
PurgeCacheDays=120 (-change this number).

Absolutely there is a way to copy the maps that you downloaded! Just go to (for example

C:\UT2004\Cache

Once in the folder you will see a bunch of encrypted files. Just copy all of them and the cache.cfg over to the new cache folder you have created. Also note, whenever you join a server and it says map version mismatch, open the cache.cfg file with wordpad, use ctrl+f to find the mapname, look at the numbers next to the mapname, and you can identify the map names by the encrypted files. The second part about what I said was a bit confusing, if you dont get it, just disregard it completely. Word.

That’s right I just dl a different map with the same name tonite.

To explain the manual way a bit more:
When you open your cache.ini found in your cache folder you’ll see something like this;
"434F96F64BF5ACD6DE70FABB498F4373-1=ONS-Ascendancy[ECE].ut2"
and a file named “434F96F64BF5ACD6DE70FABB498F4373
just rename that file “ONS-Ascendancy[ECE].ut2” or everything after “=”. Copy & paste works good for this.

It can be a big pain if you have a lot of files.
