PC NHL 2006

Hello, I just installed my Nhl '06 and I cant seem to play against the computer very well. In the pregame I want to select JUST my game pad, but it wont let me.
I have to play with both gamepad AND keyboard, cause that sucks.
anyone can help? much appreciated

i having that same problem with my gamepad too, and i dont no what to do :[. HELP ANYBODY.

Ok who`s having that problem should go to properties where is v-sync and put it ALways ON and all gonna be ou`right

I am having the same problem. And the proposed solution of the previous post is meaningless to me. I would suggest an english class for that user. Is there anyone out there who can really help? In english?

O.k. I have found a workaround anyway. When you are starting the game put both the controller and the keyboard on your teams side. Then after the game has loaded and they are about to face off, press esc to bring up the menu. Go to controller setup. Then using the keyboard, you can move the keyboard icon from your team back to the middle. This will leave only the controller enabled. And you can play this cool ass game without the keyboard. I have "nintendo thumb" from playing this game so much yesterday and today
