I need Help! I'm trying to install the following into the short cut:
''C:\Maxpayne.exe -developer'' But My computer says the info in the Target box is invalid, please tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do. Thank you! Travis I've tried : "C:\Program Files\Max Payne\Maxpayne.exe -developer". "C:\Maxpayne.exe -developer" I tried the both,and a few others I've found. But it comes up everytime saying the same thing.Also, to make sure the path and file are correct. Got any other ideas, could it be cause I have one of the patches downloaded (it wouldn't work with XP otherwise) : maxpayne105patch.exe would this make a difference?

right click on the shortcut that you normally use to play the game. click on properties. go to the line that says "target" and insert -developer OUTSIDE OF THE QUOTES. copying and pasting this wont work.
and make sure that the path to the .exe file is correct. "C:\Program Files\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer

dunno what you mean by shortcut, if you want the console I think you hit the Tilde(~) key. if you want more stuff to play with replace -developer with -developerkeys
Maxpayne 1 and 2 are the same pretty much the same as far as console commands and -developer stuff.

How exactly do I put i"C:\Documents and Settings\a\My Documents\Games\MaxPayne.exe" - developerkeys on the target line ?
Do I use spaces after - developerkeys or "C:\Documents and Settings\a\My Documents\Games\MaxPayne.exe"-developerkeys What goes in the shortcut line ? Currently says; none

Try this;
''C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne\MaxPayne.exe'' –developer Make sure that the ''-developer'' part is on the outside of the quotation marks. The path is wher the game is installed so if you have it right on C: and not in Program Files you'll have to work that out.
