top gun combat zone

I've played top gun combat zone many time with no problems, however i just got a logitech wingman force feedback Joystick and have configured it properly, and it works great on many games, However When I load up Top Gun Combat Zone on the main menu it continuly flicks back and forth between start and exit. If i if i press the hat switch button it will pause on start or exit but still cannot enter the game, very weird!!

Also I tryed to download the 1.1 patch off this site at http://www.gamershell.com/download_3759.shtml#info but there is no actual download link, When I click on Top Gun Combat Zones v1.1 Patch it just keeps loading up the same page but no download box pops up, I doubt the patch would make adifference anyhow but figurerd i got nothing to lose by tryin.

HAs anyone ever heard of a prob like this? Please Help I love this game and would really like to play using my flight stick. Thanx!!
