BF 1942: DATA DIFFERS FROM SERVER..

hi all.. me and a friend both went and got battlefield 1942 last week. i really like co-op games. as we try to connect I.P. who ever is trying to join gets this " Data Differs from Server ". we are both running retail versions and the retail 1.3 patch. just curious if anyone can help me out. E.A. is not responding to my e-mails.

ok i know that problem..... if u live in the states u need to install the us patch if u live in euroipe u need to download the uk patch...and there is no need to uninstall the game just update with the other patch and that will help..... if not hmm dunno then.
but i can say i had the same problem and went to "www.battlefield1942.com" and found out that i was not the only one with the problem but it did work and now im online again and playing aloooot....

thanks man. i dunno where we got the patch the first time. we both made sure that we got the U.S. patch this time. reinstalled the patch and all is well. i really apperciate it man.
