please help me i know i am a bit stupid but i have bought gta sa for my kids for xmas along with a brand new pc to play with..problem being it installs just fine but when i try to start the game the pc just goes back to the windows screen every time..this is a brand new packard bell pc so i presume it's good enough to run the game..p4 3.2 ghz etc..i have run the game on my laptop which is a couple of years old p4 2.4 ghz...but it runs in slow motion...as i am don't know much about grafics and the like i just presume i have done somthing wrong..please help me santa will be here soon....thanks in advance..mark.. :thumbup:

Such problems are usually when:
- You have old/corrupted graphic drivers (but i think not in this case) - Background program dont like your game (shut off all background programs) - You have problems with video codecs (try update Windows Media Player, install QuickTime, install FDDShow) PS. Are there no more educational games than GTA:SA? :P |

Go into the options menu of GTASA Video<Advanced & do the following:
Make sure mip-mapping is OFF Reduce the draw distance Lower the video quality to Medium Make sure frame Limiter is ON If you do have a VidCard, disable anti-aliasing. Sounds crazy, but it works & doesn't make a huge difference anyway. Update your drivers.
