NFS Most Wanted

I just started playing NSF MW. and while I am racing its like it keeps jumping ahead a second. I though is was lagging so I tried lowering my video settings and it got worse. its best with everything maxed and the anti alaising full as well as the V synch on. (Which by the way I have no idea what it is, I will look that up later) Anyway, any suggestions. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Asus A8N-SLI
AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core (I am running 32 bit for now)
GeForce 7800 gtx OC
1 gig ram.

Never Mind, I found the 81.95 force ware drivers and that seems to have fixed the problem.
