CoD2 - save games

does anyone else have problems with the game not automatically saving the game?

sometimes the game play through fine, saving afer major objectives have been completed, or i've survived a a big gun battle..... then sometimes... it wont save AT ALL.... i've played thru almost 20mins before now, without it saving... something that isn't exactly easy to do... its VERY frustrating when it happens.... because you just have to hope you complete the section....

anyway, just wondering if anyone else had or heard about this problem....

Come on man, the game is completely linear and the enemy is always in front of you, it isn't something really difficult or challenging like Hidden and dangerous or Brothers in arms. In 20 minutes you should have finished a level and loaded up another.

That autosave doesn't work sometimes corrects itself after you die, sometimes after you die twice. Don't get frustrated by it, since the new healthsystem it has become a kids game with extremely good graphics. You'll finish it in no time if you are over the age of 6, even on the higher difficultiesettings.

totally true of course... it isn't the hardest of games.... but i can see from your post that you've either heard of or experienced the lack of savegame.. so that kinda answers my original question...

i am working my way through, and now i know its happened to others....i can play a little more stress-free
