Battlefield 2 1.12 patch

When i try to install the new patch i always get a error that there's not enough disc space... that there's 3000 MB needed for installing the patch
on my c:\ is only 400 MB free
but BF 2 is installed on my d:\ and there is over a 6GB free space... so whats the problem ?

you have to install the patch in the drive you have battlefield 2 on.

i had the same problem, and there is a simpel solution.
All u have to do is reinstall bf2 on ur c:\ drive, then update it with the patch.

the installation wizzard looks for bf2 in C drive by default.
