Ok, so I download the re-released (free) Grand Theft Auto from GamersHell (it's also at Rockstar's site here: http://63.236.94.8/rockstar/index.php)

They supposedly fixed the framerate limiter so the game doesn't run too fast on faster comps (a major problem in the original), but it seems like it works TOO well. My framerate is constantly low and the game is choppy, no matter what resolution.

The only way I can make it run smoother is if I turn OFF the framerate limiter, but doing that speeds up the game in some places and slows it down in others. Is there anyway to change the default value or something of the limiter so I can keep it at a steady, high rate?
