Hi
I have a gamespy account that i can connect to and use it for various other games BF2, c&c, CS ect.. When I try to go online on the Toca 3 demo I just get an error message saying Your PC cannot connect to Gamespy please check your internet connection. For two nights I have been looking for posts from others with the same problem and with 6000 people downloading TOca 3 I didnt think I would be the only one with connection problems I use zone alarm with allows gamespy and a net gear router which I have allowed upnp on so cant think what this can be. Realy want to get online with this and have ordered the full game for Friday so would like to get any issues sorted out beforehand. The one think that it could be is that i have previously instaled the single player demo and when i instal the Multiplayer demo I get a repair/modify/remove screen instead of the normal instal set up? I have tried to remove the single player from add remove but I get an error message saying set up has encountered a problem, so I then removed the codemasters file from c/programs. I cant see how this would stop me getting online but I'm running out of ideas. Hope someone can help out here? Thanks Baz |

I have the same problem.
I am unable to connect with my existing account, but I was able to connect with a new account that I set up in the TOCA 3 menu. Unfortunately, the next time I tried to play neither my old account or the 'new' one I set up would allow me to connect. So, I made another new account which then connected. I hope someone posts a solution before my number of accounts gets out of control! |

lol, let's hope it is not caused by starforce because the only answer we'd get is "well it works ok on our test machine, err I mean machines. Obviously you are hacking your computer. If you come to Moscow and prove it doesn't work then we might think about fixing it."
