football manager 2006

So i downloaded the latest patch 6.3 i unzipped it all and went to setup it told me i needed to update 6.2, it went all the way to the last file and it came up with this

ERROR Creating update file C:\program files\sports interactive\Football manager 2006\fm.exe

Error 0x00000020 - the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

Can anyone understand this and wot do i need to do in order to fix this

It means you PC still had the football manager executable file resident in memory. Download the 6.2 patch, make sure the game has been closed properly and run the 6.2 patch. Then make sure the game works before loading the 6.3 patch.

this doesnt seem to be workingit is still doing the same thing is there something else i can do
