 Why are all these game programers making our lives miserable buy forsing us to buy new video cards to play their games? I mean I have downloaded at least 50 games that I could not play because it needs video cards i never heard of of hardware exceleration i never heard of. If we were to buy them all it would cost us all thousands of dollars to play games. Why do they do it ? Anyone ?

If you spent $200 US then you would be set for the next 2 years at least. I have had my 9800 pro for that long and can run every game, not necessarily at the highest settings, but it works. They make you upgrade your card so often so you can see insane next generation graphics and experience semi virtual reality. If you don't like it, buy a console. They tend to be cheaper and do not require upgrades.

"They" do not make you buy a new card to play. They do come out with new cards around every six months and fyi, not every game that comes out can take advantage of the new cards. It takes games a little bit to catch up. Games are in development for a longer period then gfx cards are so, gfx cards will always be ahead of games. Tis the way it works. Consoles on the other hand, come out every three to four years. That is a huge diference and is why puter games will always be better
