Patching

Hey all,this must sound like a noob question,but hmmmm it is,I am a noob in these things.
When I install an older game and need to update(patch) it,do I have to install all patches
like from 1 to 1.1: from 1.1 to 2.1 or can I just download the latest and will this overwrite all patches
I got WOW version 1.1 and the newest patch is 1.9 so can I just install the latest?

Yes, you can install the latest patch. Do be sure to download the full patch :thumbup:
