BF2 Map Pack 3 Prblems help please

ok i got BF2 running fine but after i installed the Map Pack3 the old maps work and
the new ones dont it just kicks me out closes the gamevwhene it stars checking user data.
some help would be appreciated thank you

I've been wondering that for sometime now

As far as your question goes, does it only do that on pure servers?

have nottryied that but it wont work in singel player

I could see why it wouldnt work in singleplayer, the maps probably aren't bot enabled. If you can, try it online on a non pure server and see if it works. If not, think about redownloading the map pack from a different location or reinstalling the game if you want the maps that bad. Also, double check and make sure the maps are located in the proper directory.
