questions about Quake IV demo

Did I make a mistake downloading Quake IV demo version?

With my DSL Connection it is downloading about 1,800 kb per minute

once its downloaded.....2 hours from now

well it have been worth it to download this? will there be online players...like in quakeIII

I enjoyed Quake 4. I think the demo has single player and a few maps for multiplayer in it. Dunno how many people are still playing on the servers though!

Q3:Arena was better for mp, so you might not enjoy it as much if that's what you wanted from it.

Actually the new patch made the MP faster and smoother. Kinda more fun to play now but it's still no Q3.
