we just tried to use an installed demo application (off a cd) but on tryimh to open the appllication after installation we get the message box saying the following file cant be found

DINPUT8.dll

any suggestions?

DINPUT8.dll is a part of directx 8 that handles keyboard, mouse and joystick interactions. How to fix it? Reinstall directx 8, or preferably 9.
